Squamish
Squamish is a town present in the north of Vancouver, in British Columbia, Canada. This is located at the northern tip of island-dotted Howe Sound. This town is surrounded by mountains such as Stawamus Chief which is a large granite monolith. The sales figure of the town is difficult to nail down because it in mainly dependent on what you include and who you ask but the multiple listings figure that are used by Lisa Bjornson, the manager of Royal LePage predict that black tusk realty in Squamish in the month of June and July this year the sales were actually up to 105 % over last year.
According to Bjornson, in the month of June and July this year, a total of 117 units have been sold as compared to the 57 units in the months of June and July last year. Out of 117 sold units this summer, there were 61 single- detached homes. Bjornson said that we definitely have seen a remarkable increase in the market activity. She further said that the town has been increasing steadily from the last six months and the interest started to increase in the month of April. There are overall numbers of six months to tell more story, total 203 units were sold during the first three months of 2013. Currently in 2020, Squamish MLS stats represent an average price of houses. The average price of homes is $ 901,313 and there are 77 new listings in the last 28 days. In this year from September 15 to October 13 the average sold price was $901K while from August 18 to September 15 there was a change of 16.5 percent in average sold price.
Market growth and stability:
