Cambridge provides many entertainment options with heritage, arts and recreational activities. Everyone can find something of his interest in this city. This city has many spots to enjoy arts and culture such as the Cambridge Center for the arts. It offers various events and performances for entertainment of folks along with offering programs. There are many tracks and trails to visit for nature lovers. There are almost over 100 parks in the city such as Soper Park and Churchill Park. The parks feature many attractions like snack bars, splash pads and campground as well as offer many different activities. There are over 14 gold courses and over 70 kilometer trails within the city. One unique attraction is the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory that gives people a chance to experience nature in an interesting way. The Conservatory offers a wonderful chance to get up close to butterflies and take astonishing pictures. It also hosts events such as weddings.

 

Shopping

There are many places in Cambridge that offer dining and shopping facilities. Places like Preston Towne Centre, Galt and the Cambridge Centre offer extensive shopping. These spots offer dining services too. Cambridge Farmers’ Market has been getting strong since 1837. It is open all year on Saturday mornings, as well as on Wednesday mornings from June to September. Folks can shop at the market for fresh or prepared foods. There are both indoor and outdoor vendors, though outdoor area is only open in the summer.

 

Enjoy festivals

Buy fresh baked goods, deli meats, delicious cheese, or fruits and vegetables. Folks can also relax and have a cup of coffee or shop for handmade bath products. Cambridge is popular for annual festivals, hosting at least one event every season. All of the events in the city exhibit the history and cultural diversity of Cambridge. Christmas series in Cambridge is one of the most popular events in city, taking place throughout the month of December. They include live entertainment, food tastings, parades, and outdoor ice skating. In the summer there are various events, including the Cambridge Tour de Grand, the Cambridge Scottish Festival, Forbes Park Music Festival and Cambridge Arts Festival. In the fall, people can enjoy the four day Cambridge fall fair.

New residential construction in Cambridge was valued at $83.4 million in 2015. This was for the development of 429 new houses. Mean price of a home in Cambridge is relatively fairly low as compared to mean price in Ontario. Galt offers many condominiums, as well as single-detached homes and single-family houses. Most people in this area own their houses but there is still a good amount of renting that exists here. Houses present here tend to be older. Hespeler also has many single-family and detached houses. Mostly people own their homes and a smaller number rent in this area. The houses in this area are affordable and are a mix of older and newly built houses.
