Fort McMurray
Fort McMurray is the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, in Alberta, Canada. It is situated on the northeast side of Alberta, in the middle region of Athabasca oil sands, and is also surrounded by the boreal forest. This area has played an important role in the development of the national petroleum industry. The 2016 census indicated that this urban service area has a population of 66,573 individuals.

This community is situated on the north end of Fort McMurray with easy access right off Highway 63.

In Fort McMurray, 2-storey houses are much popular for buyers nowadays, especially for those who have a family of young children. Bungalow houses are usually found in older areas of the town but they are the same ad bi-levels in that manner that they have virtual basements.
The average price of pre-construction development:
The sales of condos of Fort McMurray were down to 7% in 2018. The average price was down to 21% to almost $167,000. The city’s rental vacancy rate is 22%.
Real estate fact:
According to the Eitel, the average prices of the houses raised in the month of May 2016 at $660,000 and remain fairly firm till 2015. More than 2,400 buildings were destroyed in the city due to massive wildfire in 2016 including the forced evacuation of 80,000 people and 2,000 homes. 10% of the residents were also lost by the city after the fire. In 2018 total of the detached-housing sales were raised up to 12.3% from a year earlier, to 555 homes, but the average sale was down to about 5% to $571,600. Townhouse sales were raised to 40.5 percent, to almost 140 units from the previous year but average prices were down to $285,000.
