Oshawa home prices jump 2.6 per cent to $855,682 (July 2023)
 
The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board reported that in July 2023, the average cost of a property in Oshawa was $855,682. That represents increases of 2.6% or $21,968 from April 2023 and 1.3% or $10,937 from July 2022.
 
At the end of July, Oshawa had 280 active listings and 312 home sales after an average of 11 days on the market. When compared to the same period last year, sales were up 6.1% while active listings were down 33.5%.
 
The average price of detached homes was $926,671, up 0.1% or $594 from month to month and 0.5% or $4,923 from year to year. There were 183 current listings, 222 detached houses cosy bungalows, or contemporary designs, Oshawa offers a wide array of options to suit every taste and preference.
 
Semi-detached homes averaged $774,938, up 4.6 per cent or $34,312 over the previous year and 9.8% or $69,460 over the previous month. At the conclusion of the month, there were 15 active listings and 26 sales of semi-detached homes after an average of seven days on the market.
 
The average price of attached homes was $818,147, up 2.7% or $21,366 from month to month and 27.5% or $176,479 from year to year. At the conclusion of the month, there were 27 active listings, 17 attached house sales, and an average of 11 days on the market.
