This is a 2.6% increase from September of last year and a 0.3% month-over-month decline. The 198 sales in September indicate a 5.9% rise over the same month last year.
 
The average sale price in Haldimand County, which includes Caledonia, Cayuga, Dunnville, and Hagersville, is $768,113, up 13.7% from last year. The average price in Niagara North for Grimsby, West Lincoln, and Smithville rose by 0.4% from the previous year to $818,407. Haldimand County and Niagara North, being smaller market regions, have more monthly variation in sales and average prices.
