BANFF
It is a town in the province of Albert, situated within the national park of Banff. Peaks of the Mt. Cascade and Mt. Rundle, being parts of the Rocky Mountains, dominates the skyline of Banff. The main thoroughfare, restaurants that are mixed with the souvenir shops, and château-style hotels are present on Banff Avenue.

According to the 2017 municipal census, Banff Town has a population of 8,875. This is actually a change of 5.4% of the population i.e. from 8,421 according to the 2014 municipal census. According to the 2016 census, Banff had a population of 7,851 individuals out of which 2,543 individuals were living in 2,729 private dwellings. Furthermore, there was a 3.5% increase in the population from 2011. The land area of Banff town is 4.77-kilometer square. It had the population density of 1645.9 per kilometer square. The 2011 census reported the population of 7,584 individuals out of which 2,565 residents were living in 2,850 dwellings. The change in population was 13.2% from 2006 when this was 6700. In 2011 it had a population density of 1554.1 per kilometer square within 4.88-kilometer square land area.
Educational Background:
The town has Banff Centre for the Arts and Creativity which is formally called The Banff Centre. This institute was established in 1933as Banff School of Drama and is located in Banff Town, Alberta. In 1973, this institute was granted full autonomy as a non-degree granting postsecondary institution of Education. These educational institutes provide fine arts, performing programs, and also leadership training. It has many famous colleges including Bow Valley College and Wesley Nakoda College. The famous universities of town are the University of Calgary and the University of Saskatchewan.
