Leduc, Alberta.
The city of Leduc is located in Canadian province of Alberta. It is 21miles (33 km) south of the capital of province Alberta, Edmonton, and also belong to a part of Edmonton Metropolitan Region. Leduc was established in 1899, when this land was bought by a settler known as Robert Telford. A lake is also present near this land which later get famous as Robert Telford. Leduc became a village in 1899, but in 1906 it was promoted as a town. After this, in 1983 this town is updated as a city because its population grew up to 12,000. This city is also known for Alberta’s historical oil strike, which held on Febuary13, 1947, near the city at an oil well, which is name as Leduc No. 1 oil well. The total population of this city according to the calculations of 2016 survey is about more than 29,000.
