Calgary

Calgary is a city of Alberta, a western Canadian province. It is the largest municipality in western Canada and after Toronto and Montreal.

 

Neighborhoods of Calgary:

Varsity

It is one of the warmest neighborhoods of Calgary. Its major areas are Varsity Acres, Varsity Village, and Varsity Estates. In its west, there is Bow river, in the north Crowchild trail, and in the south 32nd Avenue NW. with the charming and quiet streets, Varsity offers a refreshing feeling to its residents. There are many options for recreation and shopping in this neighborhood. There are also many activities for families. C-train and highway are in its proximity which makes travelling easy.

 

Beltline

There is 17th avenue on its South, 14th Street West in its West, and Elbow river in its East. There is everything in this neighborhood from banging clubs to hipster bookstore. In 17th Avenue there are quirky and vinyl gifts, retro furniture, and boutiques. Beltline is also famous for dance clubs, craft beer pubs, live music venues, Korean restaurants, and trendy taco joints. This makes it a favorite place for young residents. At Central Memorial Park, there are landscaped gardens.

 

Downtown

In Canada, Downtown is considered to have the second-largest concentration of head offices. That is why anyone can find a job easily. Furthermore, workplaces are located near the residence. In its West, there is 14th Street W., in its North Prince’s Island Park and Bow River, in its East the Elbow River, and in its South CPR mainline tracks. It is considered as a hotspot. It has cool shopping centers, the best nightlife, and hip dining options. These are some main reasons why Downtown comes on the top of all neighborhoods of Calgary.

 

Brentwood

It also falls in the category of some top neighborhoods of Calgary. It is just next to Varsity. It is considered to have a friendly and warm community. There is Nose Hill Park in its East, John Laurie Boulevard in its North, Shaganappi Trail in its West, and Crowchild Trail in its South. It is very easy to move throughout the city because of its public transit options. There is a lot of fun things to do here and one will never get bored. In its western extremity, there is a shopping center “Northland Village”.

 

Arbour Lake

Arbour Lake has an interesting thing that no other neighborhood has, that is a private beach. There is a big range of restaurants so it is a dream place for foodies. TheCrowchild Trail is located in its South, Stoney Trail in its West, Country Hills Boulevard in its North, and Nose Hill Drive in its East.
