It has been voted many times as the best neighborhood in Edmonton. Strathcona is known as the most romantic neighborhood full of historic charm. It is located next to the University of Alberta campus, downtown, and Whyte Avenue. There are many theaters that offer entertainment along with live music concerts. It is the home of the headquarters of the International Fringe Festival of Edmonton. It is one of the major theatre festivals of the world. There are also many other events and activities that occur here including the weekly farmers’ market.
Ritchie
It is a well-established neighborhood in Edmonton. Ritchie is in the middle of its re-development. Due to its cycling culture and the cafes in the area, it is considered one of the top neighborhoods of the city. The residents here have easy access to the downtown and the Mill Creek Ravine.
