Elemntary & High Schools
Canmore is in the Bow Valley. The Canadian Rockies Public school is working throughout the big communities of Bow Valley. Total seven schools are working under Canadian Rockies Public Schools. The best elementary, secondary, and high schools of the town are Elizabeth Rummel School, School Notre-Dame Des Monts, Canmore Collegiate High School, Canadian Rockies Earth Science Resource Centre, Canadian Rockies Regional Div 12, and Mountain Gate Community School. There are also some language schools including Banff Education Center, BEC – Rocky Mountains, and Bow Valley Learning Council.
Public Parks
Many parks and nature attractions in the town show the beauty of Canmore. Some of them are Quarry Lake Park, Bow Valley Provincial Park, Benchland Trail Bike Skills Park, Grassi Lakes Trails, High Rockies Trails, Grotto Canyon, Bow River Loop, and Ribbon Creek Trail. Quarry Lake Park is a recreational area for both locals and visitors. It is a famous summer spot in the Town of Canmore. It is a joint project between the Town of Canmore and Rocky Mountain Heritage Foundation. It is a nice place for fishing with your friends or to just walk. Benchland Trail Bike Skills Park is here to help you with your mountain biking skills. It has log and rock skinny riding, dirt jumps, and many other features from the beginners to the skilled mountain bikers.
Hospitals
The hospitals that are working in the town are Canmore General Hospital, Ridgeview Medical Center, Three Sisters Walk-In and Family Medicine Clinic, Canmore Associate Medical Clinic, and Canmore Health and Wellness Centre. A wide range of facilities are provided by the Canmore General Hospital. It has an emergency department that operated 24/7. There is also Bow Valley Community Cancer Centre in it. The other services include Health Information – Access and Disclosure, Calgary Rural Diabetes Clinics, Health Information / Records Management, Indigenous Hospital Liaison Services, Labour and Delivery Services, Postpartum, and Newborn Care, Lactation Services, and Mental Health Urgent Care. Ridgeview Medical Center was established in 1954. The services provided by them are Nursing Centers and Assisted Living Residences, Domestic Abuse/Child Protection, Mental Health, and Chemical Dependency, and Advance Care Planning.

A variety of leisure opportunities and recreation activities offered by Canmore Recreation Center. It has activities for people of every age. Canmore Recreation Center is located near the heart of the Downtown Canmore. It provides year-round learning. Its main services include a gymnastic facility, skating rinks, and an outdoor skate park. It is also adjacent to a large soccer field. With all these facilities it is the best place to spend your time and make lifetime memories with your friends and family.
Another recreation center of the town is Elevation Place. It is a vibrant recreation facility of the Town of Canmore. It has open access to the Aquatics, climbing, and fitness areas. In its other facilities, there is a swimming pool, water slides, children’s play area, and On-deck multipurpose room.
