Public Parks & Community Centres
Edmonton is known for its natural beauty and it has many parks that show its scenery. Borden is a park that has a history of over a hundred years. There is a formal flower garden, walking paths, and arts work in the park. It also has a tennis court. It is a great place for a picnic or to just relax. There is another park Callingwood Park that offers off-leash site, green shack program, picnic sites, spray parks, skate parks, and pavilion.
A perfect place for family picnics and small groups is Jackie Parker Park. It has a small lake with a loop trail and two fire rings with benches for campfires.
