Elementary & High Schools in Medicine Hat

There are eleven elementary schools, three middle schools, and three high schools in the Medicine Hat Public School Division. In middle schools, one focuses on Christian education. There are many hospitals in Medicine Hat, two of them are Medicine Hat Community Health Services and Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. In 1888-1890, the first hospital that was built in this region was Medicine Hat General Hospital. It was the only hospital between Winnipeg and Vancouver and, in the entire Northwest Territories. The Medicine Hat & District Health Foundation was established in 1996 due to the distribution and management of the donations meant for the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and Community Health Services.
