There are many things to do in the Canmore when it comes to fun and entertainment. The top places to visit include Grassi Lakes, Canmore Cave Tours, Policeman’s Creek Boardwalk, Ha Ling Peak, and Canmore Nordic Centre Provisional Park. Along the river, Policeman’s Creek Boardwalk is a landmark near the center of the town. There are also many other places along the path including forested areas, songbirds singing, and ponds with swimming ducks. This path is for almost all the skill levels as it connects with the town trail’s system. In 1988 Canmore Nordic Centre was developed to host the cross-country sky events in the Olympic winter games. It is one of the best places in the world for skiing. Between Mount Lawrence Grassi and Miner’s Col., Ha Ling Peak is a hiking route.
Canmore Recreation Centre is located near the heart of downtown Canmore. They offer many leisure activities for people of almost every age group. They have a fitness gym, ice skating rinks, and sports field.
