It is a city located in north-western Alberta. The population of Grand Prairie is 55,000. Although it is a small city, yet it offers a lot of entertainment.

During winter people can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and more. While during summer it offers parks and goal courses. It is perfect for families. Grande Prairie Skateboard Park has a family-friendly and pleasant environment. The Dunes Golf and Winter Club is a place for any golf fan. Grant Berg Gallery is the only commercial art gallery in this city. The things here range from paintings to sculptures to carvings to jewelry, to photography. Grande Prairie Museum is suitable for all ages. There are exhibitions featuring the first traders who contributed to the Peace Region, a paleontological dig site that represents locally found bones of an Edmontosaurus.
