Caledon home prices drop 4.8 percent to $1.37 million (July 2023)
 

The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board estimates that in July 2023, the average cost of a property in Caledon was $1.37 million. That represents a decrease of 4.8% or $69,561 from May 2023 and a decrease of 21.6% or $376,849 from July 2022.
 
At the end of July, there were 245 active listings and 109 home sales in Caledon after an average of 17 days on the market. In comparison to the same period last year, sales were up 41.6% and the number of active listings was up 2.1%.
 
The average price of detached homes was $1.52 million, down 6.8% or $111,122 from month to month and down 22% or $428,841 from year to year. After an average of 20 days on the market, 79 detached houses were sold.
 
Semi-detached homes cost an average of $1.05 million, up 5.2% or $52,114 from month to month but down 7.6% or $86,175 from year to year. At the conclusion of the month, there were 12 active listings, seven semi-detached house transactions, and an average of five days on the market.
 
The average price of attached homes was $960,929, down $11,178 or 1.1% from month to month. At the conclusion of the month, there were 16 active listings and 21 attached house sales after an average of 10 days on the market.
