The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board estimates that in July 2023, the average cost of a property in Milton was $1.12 million. That represents a decrease of 1.3 percent, or $14,383, from March 2023 and a decrease of 5.3 percent, or $62,363, from July 2022.
At the end of July, there were 159 active listings and 155 home sales in Milton after an average of 13 days on the market. Compared to a year before, sales were down 11.9% and active listings were down 45.7%.
The average price of detached homes was $1.39 million, down 1.3% or $18,950 from month to month and down 5.8% or $86,250 from year to year. After an average of 17 days on the market, 71 detached houses were sold.
Semi-detached homes cost an average of $1.09 million, up 7.9% or $79,146 monthly but down 7.3% or $85,824 from year to year. After the month, seven active listings and 14 semi-detached homes were sold after an average of seven days on the market.
The average price of attached homes was $933,464, down 1.3% or $12,030 from month to month and down 8.7% or $88,489 from year to year. After the month, there were 31 active listings and 44 attached house sales, with an average of eight days on the market.
